Vieux-Emosson Dam (2205 m)

The Vieux-Emosson Dam was built in 1955 by the CFF-SBB, the Swiss rail company. It is 65 metres in height and its reservoir holds a volume of 13.5 million m³ of water. Its waters, which originally flowed into the reservoir behind the Barberine dam, now flow down to the Emosson lake.
